My Favorite Days
Other than being outside on a sunny day, jumping rope, my best days are when I’m consulting.
Okay, I may be a little old for jumping rope. But, you can find me at the theatre, golfing, traveling with my two daughters, hiking, or helping others. And, like a kid, I’m curious and I love to learn. That’s why I also enjoy going to conferences, reading, and asking lots of questions.
Experience
Some people might be content to rest on their twenty-six years of clinical experience in dental hygiene, along with ten years of management experience, teaching at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, and the knowledge gained from having worked with 130 dental practices in the U.S. and in Canada.
I’m not. There’s too much more to learn.
My Beginning
It’s one thing to read about a subject. Living it adds much more. I started my career in the dental field as a front office team member and soon transitioned to a certified dental assistant before completing my degree as a dental hygienist, so I have a connection to, and understanding of, dentistry.
I also earned my Master’s degree in Dental Hygiene, with a focus on Management, and went on to get certified in Coaching.
